How To Support FNC

Membership
So, you think FNC is the greatest thing since the Enlightenment and want to be a member?  Well, we would love to have you!

Being a member is really reasonable.  We do it basically so we just know that you love us.  It's only $1 per year, payable at the first meeting of the year that you attend.   But we do have a membership application; email us at freethinkersofnorthernco (at) gmail (dot) com with your mailing or e-mail address if you would like to apply.

Benefits
Members of FNC receive voting privileges, not to mention the undying gratitude of the officers that you elect. You will also enjoy participation in and socializing during our meetings, discussion groups, parties, and picnics, and the heady sense of power and egoism that the privilege will bring you.

Privacy Policy
Here's the fine print.  The FNC membership list will never be released to another organization or non-member. However, the Colorado non-profit law requires that members' names and addresses be made available to other members upon request.

What more could you want as a freethinker?  Come join us today!

  1. Is this group still active? Are you still meeting at Dazbog?

  2. Well I went yesterday and met a guy named Roy who was also there for the first time. We had our own meeting. Planning to show up again in January. Hope some others do too.

  3. Hi Don - I sent a message to the contact email a couple of months ago inquiring if this group is still active. Never received a reply.

But if you or others plan to show up on Sunday, Jan. 16, I will attend also.

    Fort Collins needs this group!

  5. I too sent an email a month ago inquiring about meetings but haven't received a reply.
I'd be interested in attending the next FRAGILE meeting.
    Thanks,

  6. My husband and I tried to join a group such as this, or maybe it WAS this, back in about 2004 I think. The first meeting was okay. Lots of nice and interesting people showed up at the Fort Collins Community College library. Next meeting was very bad weather. We were the only ones there. Gave up. I would love to see an active group in Fort Collins. Any one out there?

  7. Hello,
Any Word Back If This Group Is Active?

  8. This group has been meeting regularly at Dazbog for at least the last couple of years. December is usually taken off because of everybody's "other commitments" during that time. We meet in the downstairs meeting room between 10am and noon. The number of people who show up varies from month to month, but I'm not aware of any skips (other than December).

  14. Same question. We have been exploring the possibility of developing a Humanist presence and voice in northern Colorado Front Range communities--barely getting started, still in discussion state--but you may have gotten there already. How's it going? Do you find a good demand for this? Been thinking of creating a FB page....

  15. If we can't FIND what we're looking for, we may have to CREATE it. Can anyone post on facebook.com/Humanistvistas? We know there is existing interest among secularist families, UU Humanists, Freethinkers, readers of The Humanist magazine, etc., etc. who keep looking for a reliable connection to support, and may be up for creating something synergistically.

  16. Frustrating. We KNOW there are many "unaffiliated" folks hereabouts; and for YEARS there have been attempts at some kind of coalescing. Been inquiring here and at Secular Families and at Secular Student Alliance and at Foothills UU....Please, if you can, on FB check out Humanist Vistas. Let's continue the attempt to find each other.
